A compact Heliconia to about 6ft when fully grown with outstanding tropical bracts and flowers. Over wintered in a warm environment these can flower in a relatively short period of time. Likes rich soil and regular applications of fertilizer during the spring and summer. Keep well watered during hot periods. Likes medium shade but can take full sun.
