This is a very rare climbing plant, one of the rarest in the world in fact due to the habitat loss of the trees it grows on in the wild. It is possible we have the only availability of fresh seeds in Europe and they are in short supply. The bloom is a spectacular pendant style that produces jade coloured flowers (a rare colour in plants) in large clusters up to 4ft in length and is where it gets it's name from. Can be grown indoors on structures or netting and is a vigorous grower once established, it can even reach 30ft in height in the wild but is easily managed with a little TLC and pruning in a domestic setting. Makes a great container plant as it does not like frost or freezing conditions and prefers moderate humidity so for best results a greenhouse would be perfect although not essential in order to grow one for your self. Blooms from spring through to winterThese seeds are the size of marbles and come from a specimen Jade Vine (they don't produce many seeds) that is grown in a conservation setting and you get 1 large seed per pack.Don't miss the chance to grow one of these wonderful plants. We have plants available of this variety in our Tropical plants section.
